My background in exercise begins with my bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Massachusetts – Boston, USA. I chose this career because I believe that exercise is an important factor in our lives which keeps us healthy and strong – both physically and mentally. During my college years I stared working as a physical therapy technician in Nantucket Cottage Hospital in Massachusetts, USA. During the 4 years I worked there, I obtained unmatched knowledge and skills in the filled of physical therapy and occupational therapy. I moved to Dubai in 2018 and shortly after became a personal trainer in a small but busy gym called Smart Fitness. Because of my background in rehabilitation and physical therapy, I was given the great opportunity to get certified and pre- and post-natalfitness and to teach pre- and post-natal group classes. Since then, I have been working towards improving my skills in the area and obtaining various qualification so I can help more women who choose to stay active during their pregnancy but also who need guidance and help during the post-natal months. I specialize in core and pelvic floor strengthening by combining various techniques and approaches based on the client’s needs.
